Come on in and check out our living room. It's big and on a day to day basis there are toys scattered all over the floor.
To your left a butler's pantry, straight ahead the kitchen, and to your right the dining room. We joke it's like a race track-and perfect for playing tag.
We have this cool built-in by the stairs. It fits our games perfectly, although I'm not sure I could squeeze another one in!
And this lovely window? We tore into it. Future sliding glass doors to go onto a future deck. At least we know the house is insulated!
A couple people have been asking what's all been done. It's crazy to think about it, but we've had lots of help. We've owned the house for a month. Here's what's gotten done.

- A new front door
- 22 new windows
- 2 double garage doors installed
- 2 plank floors refinished
- 2 ceiling fans installed
- kitchen cabinets refinished and new hardware put on
- chicken coop built
- chicken fencing installed
- New carpet in living room
- New laminate flooring in mudroom and laundry room.
- Dishwasher installed
And lots of numerous things fixed! The best part-my front porch is next! We have a long way to go on this house but the most important thing is we are healthy, happy, and home.
