We wrapped up soccer last weekend and it's been great. I have 3 days back of my life where I can cook dinner and not be rushing around. Last night I made shepherd's pie and homemade cookies. My husband welcomed me back. I guess some crazy lady had been inhabiting our house all month.
We are wrapping up our first year of gardening here. The trial and errors, the grass we fought... Learning from our mistakes, I can't wait to give it another try next year. I'm content with the break for now.
Spotting and collecting in our backyard. We are excited for the upcoming nature exchange Mud Puddles to Meteors is hosting. Be sure to sign up here! It ends this Monday.
It's combine season! The farmer is combining around our property and my little guy is in heaven. The kids stayed outside and watched a lot of the time yesterday.
It's been cold and rainy. We all have colds that we are fighting off. After the kids go to bed this is my favorite spot.
With all the apples we've had I decided to whip up some Apple Crisp. Of course it was gone right away and they are already begging me to make more. I guess I better freeze more apples for some middle of the winter baking.
Thanks for coming by today!
